COMPANY HISTORY
Hacienda Bolonia is a family project that was born in 2008 with the dream of transforming the olive groves and vineyards of our parents from conventional into organic cultivation. Our philosophy is to recover the biodiversity of the land, enriching the environment with fruit trees and aromatic plants, stopping soil degradation and thus obtaining healthy products of the highest quality.
According to records from the Historical Archive of Cordoba, the Bolonia estate or hacienda was an old Franciscan convent from the 18th century, famous for the rich products of its orchards, comprising olive and oak groves and vineyards, complete with farmhouse and winery.
It passed into private ownership during the Mendizábal expropriation, over the years becoming a farmstead and, later, grandfather Molina would transform it into a winepress. His daughter Antoñita maintained it until our times and made this beautiful project possible.
We are now the third generation of a family with agricultural roots, who have learnt the good way of doing things from our elders, but who are also aware of and committed to organic farming and healthy food.
We want to promote the fruits of our land, enriched by their organic origin!
